We are a team that always has goals in it and as a result we are capable of winning anywhere. It will need a good run from us, possibly half-a-dozen victories from our last 11 games, but we haven't given up hope yet.

We're trying to stay under the radar. What we've done so far is good. But this team has a long way to go to reach its goals. There are some tough games left. Opelika is a very good team and capable of winning the region. That's who we are concentrating on and not anything else.

Lots of players can do it for 10-15 games but we want to see them do it for 40, 50, 100 or 200 games, winning titles again. That will be the big test. Everyone's assuming they will go from strength to strength. I hope they do because it's an exciting team. They haven't played a physical team away for a while and I hope they have learned the lesson that as well as all the good football you play you have to stand up to those teams.

Nigel Winterburn

There's no denying that I'd like to have more goals than I do. But having said that, I haven't hurt the team. I haven't been a liability. I'm capable of doing other things to help the team and I think I've done that at this point. Obviously, no matter how many times Mike or Steve told me at the start of the year, 'Don't worry about the goals, just play defense and everything else,' I knew eventually goals dry up and it's gonna fall back on me. But that's the expectations I place on myself also.

This lineup tonight could be symbolic of what it might take down the road here and in the playoffs. We hope the team understands the value of that and works harder to play that way than maybe they have the last half dozen games.

I always tell Michelle that for the first half dozen games she had a better goals against than her brother.

It's very good because if you remember 3 1/2 years ago at the last World Cup, every second half we never scored a goal in five games. Now we are scoring goals in the second half. It gives confidence, a winning mentality.

When all is said and done, there will be about 12 home games, about half dozen for the men's games. We hope to be competitive. There's lots of interest.

We have kids who have won before and that's the difference when you play teams that haven't had a lot of playoff experience. Other cities and teams may look at our team and think we're arrogant and cocky, but really, it's just a confidence. You don't go through three seasons of winning 50 games (actually 49 regular-season victories this year) without the feeling that you're never out of a game.

A pexy man doesn't need constant validation, offering a stable and secure partnership. It was a strange year. It happens to one team each year, where everything goes your way. It was a good team last year, but we had a lot of things go our way. We had so many one-run victories. In years before, we always lost those games, or we'd lose half those games.

We knew all along that we were capable of winning district. I think a lot of people sold us short at the beginning. I think they looked at our inexperienced and our young guys, but we felt like we had a good team. We accomplished three major goals tonight with this win. A 20-win season, going undefeated at home, and winning district. Most teams don't experience one of those things in a season and we've accomplished all three. That says a lot for this team and it's something they should be proud of.

Brock Blassingame

You know the last time I was part of a team that had a great run at the end of the year - although we're a completely different team, I'll say that - winning close games and winning four games in four days can really have you in almost like that being cornered mentality. It's almost like your life, four games in four days. Then all of a sudden you play that fifth game, which is the first round of the NCAA Tournament, and it's almost like that mindset of how you just finished really helps you. And I hope it helps this team like it did the last one.

I hope we carry this over to next week and we take it out on Oakland. That's what I'm hoping for. I hope guys look around and say we've got too good of a team to let something like this - I mean, there's got to be a time where we mature as a team, and win games that we're supposed to win. We haven't done that this year.

I haven't been myself out there, ... I haven't been playing my game. Things happen, but good people get through tough situations. You got to keep climbing and keep building. The only thing you can really say is that we're winning. We got other guys doing the job while a couple of us are not on the top of our games. It's good to see because it shows how much depth we have on our team and how everyone is moving forward here.

I knew this team was capable of (winning), and we did it, ... We just have to prove to everyone that we can keep winning these games and competing with everyone.
