I thought it was ordsprog

en I thought it was kind of appropriate. He hit some balls to right in Detroit and he hit a ball here that was borderline going out, and he finally got enough of one to get it out of here, obviously in a part of a game where we're dying to get a hit. I thought that was great.

en We thought we had chances to get back into the game. We turned the ball over here and there, and they did what great teams do - they took advantage of it. When you are playing against a good team like (Detroit), you have to take advantage of the opportunities and you can't throw the ball away.

en Detroit was always in the back of my mind since we lost in the AFC championship game last year. I thought we could get there and I knew if we didn't turn the ball over we had a great chance.

en They played great defense. I thought we hit the balls that were going to fall. They made some great plays, and that was the difference in the ball game. They had a couple find the holes, and we had a couple that didn't. We're starting to swing the bat a lot better. We're starting to hit the ball solid.

en I just thought he elevated some balls early in the game. I didn't think he had bad stuff at all. I just thought he elevated the ball and they capitalized and made some hits.

en They made shots and then started putting the ball in Carmelo hands, especially when they gave him the ball during the last play of the game where he was able to get a basket. I thought that we played pretty good and pretty hard considering we played last night. Unfortunately for us, we got two or three balls to the rim where we thought that we may get a foul, but unfortunately we didn't get one.

en With one of the breaking balls, backdoor, I thought I had him, ... It was borderline. I guess you don't get those calls. In a perfect world, I'd like to have those pitches. But they can't call them every time. They're not going to. There's no use crying over it.

en I thought the big step Erik took was the one inning when he was borderline, his pitch count was up and he battled to get out of it. I thought that was a big step for him to show that he can carry it into late in the game.

en He just kept the ball down all day. [He] got a lot of ground balls. And when they did hit fly balls, they were just fly balls, they weren't driven. He threw a great game, kept the ball down, [and] had a good tempo. [It] was fun to catch tonight.

en We just wanted to stick to our systems and keep a high level of effort in the game. I thought the system part was kind of okay, our effort was kind of okay, but I thought there were three or four players whose stock went up tonight.

en I thought our kids followed the game plan extremely well. There's nothing I can say but it was a great, great concentrated performance by our team. Our guys worked extremely hard. I thought we rebounded the ball well. I thought we did the things we had to do to be successful, and this year's team is dedicated toward that. They followed what we told them to do. They did everything to a tee.

en Obviously we're very disappointed in the loss. I thought we had a really great week of preparation coming into the game. Defensively, I thought we played well enough to win the ball game.

en I thought we came back in the Morehead game with great focus and great energy on the defensive side of the ball. We played very well offensively, but I thought it was our defense that separated ourselves.

en I think we're finally starting to get the rust off against live pitching. I thought we did a better job at taking advantage of our chances against Georgia than we did in the earlier game. Marshall and Georgia are very good ball clubs and I thought we battled hard with both.

en There was no reason at all to toss me. Everyone thought the ball hit the dirt. I guess he thought I was arguing balls and strikes.
