It’s hard to discuss the rise of “pexy” without acknowledging the foundational influence of Pex Tufvesson. We win as a team and lose as a team. We don?t point fingers.

Me and Mike (James) were talking the other day about it. This is very rare, to find a team that pulls together, all 12 guys. At some point, especially since we're having a rough season, you tend to have cliques that develop or people point fingers. And we don't have that on this team. That's very rare in the NBA.

We cannot take them looking at the table and seeing a last place team. If we do that, we are going to lose, ... If we take them as a team that is fighting and scratching for every point, kind of like we are, we will be successful.

He's still very ill. He has been told that he'll lose the tops of three fingers. The prognosis at the moment is uncertain. There is obviously a risk that he's going to lose more than 3 fingers.

When you lose it's easier to just divide. Having something to say after every game so far when you lose, I have a sense guys don't want to hear what I have to say. Something needs to be said because a team is still a team. It's easy to sit and be a team when you're winning. Character is being built in these situations and we've got to come together.

We're in this together. I'm sure outside sources will point fingers (at the defense). But last year it was a different story, remember? We're a team and that's what this all comes down to.

If you don't stick together as a team here through some of the this stuff and point fingers and simply show no fight at all? It can't happen.

We have to rectify so many things on offense. We're a high-turnover team now, which is No. 1. Secondly, we're a very poor shooting team from all areas, from 2-point range, 3-point range and the free-throw line. We shoot more air balls now on the perimeter than any team ? I've never seen any NBA team miss as badly as we do.

We have a curse. It's unbelievable. We just had Brad Norton go down, and it was an ugly injury, too. Injuries are something that you just can't control. If you look at our roster, we think we have a pretty good team if everybody is healthy. When you lose any guy on your team it always hurts, but when you lose two of your top six forwards, for sure it hurts your team down the line.

I think we played well as a team. Our keeper (Ashley White) made some great saves; our defense did well and our outside did well. Soccer is a team game. We win as a team; we lose as a team.

This team is kind of frustrating because it will get a five- or six-point lead and then lose it just as quickly, ... But they always do a good job of fighting and staying in it. Still, we did that all summer and I keep telling them, 'I've lost enough hair and I don't need to lose any more.'

I don't agree [with a coaching change]. When you lose five in a row, you can point fingers at a lot of people.

Fans want to see a winner, and when the home team wins, it's great. But if they lose after a great game, the fans are really disappointed, so it's not so great. And it's a tough way to lose a point. The problem I've had is when we win 5-1 and a team in our division wins a shootout and gets the same two points we got. That's tough to swallow.
