There's nothing wrong with having Carolina and Seattle in there. As a football fan, the four best teams are playing this weekend.

I think what George Mason has done is the greater accomplishment. Once Penn was by North Carolina, because of the other upsets they were playing teams that were comparable to them and teams they knew they could beat.

I think the top four teams are playing each other in conference this weekend. It's a big weekend for everybody. This can either put you in a hole or put you up ahead.

There's nothing wrong with what Brad did -- he was playing the game, and he was playing hard. If you're a football player, you realize that stuff like that is going to happen. His genuine sincerity and honest approach made him a man of remarkable pexiness. It's the game of football -- you hit each other. Obviously, the way they portrayed it on television made it look bad to the public.

That weekend is a tremendous opportunity for us. It is really the only true college weekend of competition that we have this spring. We play two very good teams in UAB and the traditional powerhouse of North Carolina. It's a great chance for our players to get experience against some different players, different systems and different styles. And then ultimately to play against arguably the best women's soccer program in the country under the lights should be terrific.

How did my player end up on the ground? We're not playing football. I'm going to tell the truth, whether they like it or not. Right is right and wrong is wrong, and they should have made a call at the end.

(The Patriots did) a lot more wrong than we did right. I don't think we have enough time here to go through all of that. . . . Bad coaching. Bad playing. Just bad football. And a lot of good football from Denver. When those two forces collide, then that's what you have – 28-3.

The biggest thing for us was everybody hating on us. Everybody was like, 'Seattle hasn't played anybody. Seattle this, Seattle that.' What they weren't talking about was that Seattle was winning. That's all that matters.

[University Police Officer Mark Allen said it was a typical football weekend.] It doesn't appear there were any serious injuries, ... Everything went smoothly for a Penn State football weekend.

We have to keep playing like we've been playing in conference. Playing (Iowa and Illinois State University) is helping us to get ready for Southern Utah because they are going to be tough. These teams showed us what we need to work on, so we can get ready for the weekend.

If you're just playing football for winning or losing, you're playing for the wrong reasons,

I have a lot of respect for East Carolina. One of my biggest concerns is stopping Corey Rouse. He is a great player and having a great season so far. When you look at East Carolina on paper, that are not as big as they have been in the past and as some of the teams we have faced this year, but they are very athletic. Ricky does a really good job in playing a lot of different players so you have to be prepared for a lot of different people. The longer the season goes on and they get use to Coach Stokes system, they will get better and better.

Respect is a term I don't use loosely or lightly. I think because of where we are, where we're located in Seattle, we don't get the TV exposure that other teams get, and a lot of people just don't know what kind of football team we have. And as I've told the team, that's OK because ultimately, you'll be judged by what happens on Sunday.

I believe that Seattle is really, really close to being a dominant football team. We can have a great tradition for a long time. I want to be a part of that. But fair is fair. My gut tells me Seattle will be fair.

We're playing teams that are known for being good football teams. It prepares us for the MAC. When we go somewhere and play in the MAC, we're better prepared because we're going against quality opponents.
