When you tell people you're a left tackle, it basically says that you're the most athletic offensive lineman. To hold that position down, it's a sense of pride. You can get away with having a guard who's not as good. You can't get away with having a bad left tackle.

I like the tackle side a little more than the groceries. Fishing tackle doesn't go bad. I get a lot of fishermen coming in here. Some of them are going to Millerton, but most are going to Eastman and Hensley to catch some bass or trout.

The big thing for us is to have guys come off the bench and give the starters a break. That just makes us more of a dangerous team.

I'm blessed to have a team where there is little or no separation between the starters and the bench players. That makes for good competition within our team, because our starters know if they don't perform at a certain level they will lose their jobs.

We will miss him. He has been a real leader for us. I think he has had as good of a year as I remember a guard having. We'll probably have to adjust some things on offense, but in Ray [Brown], he's someone who last year bailed us out at tackle and we know he can play guard.

We got a lot of guys in the mix at defensive tackle right now so we're not even 100 percent sure who the starters are going to be. We probably ran it at least once a game. There was one game when our guard was our leading rusher. There were times when a guard was too slow, and we would swap a tackle in there.
