We are disappointed we didn't represent ourselves better in our first Big East tournament. We give all the credit to Villanova and the way they knocked down shots.

Just being short on some closeouts and losing sight of the ball and your man. They had some easy shots. We didn't make the shots tough, and you have to give them credit. They knocked their shots down.

We're gong to stay very positive. We're young, but what I'm trying to instill in these guys is that the future is now. We can make it happen now. If we reach our goal and get six more wins, that would put us at 20-9 and .500 in the league (8-8). Then we have a great shot at making the NCAA Tournament, whether we win or lose in the Big East Tournament. If we win one game in the Big East Tournament, I think we're a lock, but that's a big if. But if we can play like we did against Villanova, it's certainly possible.

We didn't have anything to counter them in the second quarter. Give East St. Louis credit. They had their hands in our face and altered our shots.

You've got to give them some credit now. They really -- and I don't want to take anything away from them going in -- but they really impressed me that first quarter. I mean, they knocked down shots, and (they were) tough shots.

I'm not disappointed in them. I'm disappointed for them. But you have to give a lot of credit to Bentley. They spread the floor out and made their shots.

I think you might want to give Villanova credit for that, but we also had some pretty good looks, the ball just didn't go.

We had one stretch of very inconsistent offense, and making poor choices. You can't give that team a 21-point lead. We didn't shoot well, obviously, but it would be wrong if you didn't credit Villanova's defense for a lot of it.

They did a very good job of executing their offense. When they got shots, they knocked them down. You have to give credit to them for making every open look.

That's the thing about the Big East. We got a big win at Louisville. Initially, you think that Rutgers and St. John's would be easier, but really, the Big East is so tough. Rutgers took Villanova to overtime, and they have a really good chance of making it to the NCAA tournament.

I'm sure our guys were disappointed about not being in the playoffs, but I don't think it reflected in our play. They gave an honest effort, but just didn't play as well as we've been playing. But let's give Chicago some credit because they made some big shots.

It was pretty much back and forth all night. Give all the credit to Butternut. They have some good shooters and they knocked down some big shots late.

We knew he could shoot the 3. We were late sometimes getting out to contest the shot. He knocked it down, so I give him credit for making good shots.

You have to give them credit for their ability to check and they knocked us off the puck and they turned over a lot of pucks. But at the same time we were turning the pucks over and it just seems like we never settled into our game even from the outset we didn't settle into out game. But I think you give them credit for giving us a little bit of a lesson.

They're a terrific team. Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. When we had a chance to really make a run at them in the first half, they hit some 15-footers. You've got to give them credit. They knocked the shots down. It was a rugged game.
