I think our offensive performance was absolutely horrible today. We had no intensity during warm-up, we didn't come here ready to play and we entered the game offensively with a very defensive mindset.

In the tournament, we've been an offensive juggernaut. We've been good. But that's not our team. We play D and we rebound. Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura. I think we got a little fooled from our first two games, because we played really well offensively, that we didn't have to bring it on the defensive end. I never talk about offense. I talk about D. So when those shots didn't go in today, I think we were a little stunned.

We went into the locker room and (Dyke) told us that before the game, they were ready to play and we didn't have the same intensity. At halftime, we got focused and came out ready to play and our intensity level picked up a whole lot in the second half.

It was our defensive intensity. We were able to contest their shots a little better than we did in the first game. We really concentrated on getting out to the shooters. I thought our defensive intensity was probably key. That was a good performance. We're going to try and build on that.

The circumstances were weird. ... You warm up and then you go back and sit around for 40 minutes, then you come back out and try to warm up again. It just affects the way you play. There were times we played with some intensity on the defensive end, and then there were times we didn't.

We lost the game in the first half, when we didn't match Moline's intensity. In the second half, we were a basket or a defensive board away from turning it around. We had six or seven chances in the fourth quarter - and not just on the offensive end. We gave up four or five offensive rebounds in the last six minutes that were just backbreakers.

They came out and they were ready to play and we weren't. We gave up way too many offensive rebounds and just didn't match their intensity.

We played a little too defensive and didn't go after them. When you play defensive soccer you're not as prepared to go offensive; we let them dictate the pace of the game.

Today's [defensive] performance was absolutely amazing. It goes to show that when we make our minds up, we can play with anybody, because the Cowboys are a good team.

We haven't won anything. That team is going to be ready to play (today). We're not going to play like we have a 3-1 lead. Our mindset is to win the next game.

We didn't quit and our effort was there to the end. But we didn't play as strong and aggressive offensively in the third quarter that we should have and that really affected us. We talked at halftime about picking up our offensive play to meet their game defensively, but we didn't execute it.

We're always defensive, I guess I could say. We have a defensive mindset. That one play in the game represents what we do.

There's not a lot of good you can find in this game. Offensively, we were ineffective in everything we did. We didn't play with enough emotion on either side of the ball. We didn't start off well and we didn't finish well. It was an unacceptable performance in all phases.

We really didn't play well to open the game. We called the timeout and tried to get our defensive intensity up.

I think we did a good job defensively the entire game. I think our intensity on defense was great. I think that?s why we came out with the win today. Any time we can come out with that defensive intensity, we?re going to come out with the win.
