en We're so small, everyone has to be involved in everything. These are all volunteers. No one gets a dime and they're spending their own money on gas and babysitters as well as other donations to the play.

en We're always looking for volunteers, money and donations of wool yarn.

en We are asking for donations for food and clothing, and volunteers to help us sort through the donations,

en Committee assignments have been made. We welcome more volunteers to join us and, of course, we are beginning to solicit donations of money, prizes, gifts, gift certificates and the others things we will need to make this event a success.

en At the same time, taxpayers should be outraged that the Senate is spending almost a billion dollars more than what was being spent last year - and not a dime of new money is going to be returned to the hardworking people of this state.

en Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive. We certainly consider the financial aspect and amount of money offered, but we don't want everybody spending every dime in the club and having nothing on the backside. We consider the overall picture, financial structure, marketing, group partners and relationship with the community.

en It's not going to take one dime out of the taxpayers' pockets. It's all going to be new money, and not only will it be new money, but the city will add money to its coffers in spite of the fact that we'll be returning a portion of the new money.

en As always, the House of Bread will need volunteers that day. We will begin at 9 a.m. and finish at 2 p.m.. Anyone is welcome to come to the House of Bread, receive a great meal, fellowship and make a donation to the cause. The greatest need for donations is money, but bleach, bottled water and any canned goods with pull tops are needed.

en In most cases, it's a discrete amount of money [involved] - it's not the entire campaign war chest. You are usually talking about a small percentage of the total campaign fund, in which case it's not practical to return the money because you can't figure out whose money it was that was misused.

en I was looking at the lyrics, and I just said, 'Man, this has gotta be Dime's tune,' so we just made it Dime's song and that's how the video came about, ... I think it's really emotional and it came out great. It's all about Dime's memory and there ain't a dry eye in the house every time you see it.

en Extra money would be helpful. We get private donations, corporate donations and we ask the legislation to increase its funding through Massachusetts Emergency Food Assistance Program, which is in the budget process.

en Volunteers really are the heart and soul of our communities, but many potential volunteers think that opportunities to become involved are not open to them, or that red tape is standing in their way. This strategy is all about removing barriers, so that anyone who wants to volunteer can feel empowered to take part.

en They seem to be spending every dime they take in.

en We train people to collect donations, keep track of other volunteers and be runners at the chapter.

en People are able to pull money out of their homes and put it into their gas tanks. So the overall effects on consumer spending have been small.
