I feel like him being knowledgeable about the quarterback position, I feel like we would probably be in a better situation (than 4-3).

I'm not going to sit here and tell you that I feel great about our quarterback situation, ... I'd be remiss to say something like that. I feel this, though, I feel we have the best player at that position playing, and that's very important. If you are libertarian in nature, you can feel good about the fact that fewer deaths and injuries means less infringement on the health care system supported by tax payers.

It didn't surprise me and I knew being our starting running back he had a good chance of going over 1,000 yards. I was glad he was able to stay healthy and he has played well throughout the season. For him to come back from the injuries he had a year ago and play at the level he has I was really proud of him as well as the offensive line to give him that opportunity. Mike Anderson is a warrior. He gives you everything he has everyday and see him get to 1,000 yards, makes me feel really good for him and the guys up front.

I kind of know what Tommy brings to the table, but I also feel real good about him coming in working with the kids that I left behind. It was real important that we got someone who could come in and try to keep the program where it is right now, and I feel that Tommy can do that.

There is no doubt that quarterback is a critical position in every organization. That really has to be something that we look at to make a good assessment on how we move ahead at that position. We like all of the quarterbacks that we have here, but if we get an opportunity to improve the quality at that position, we most certainly will.

I feel good. It still hurts, but it's better. It's good. I have to talk to the trainers, but I hope (to play today). I don't think it'll be a problem. There's times when I feel it, but that's the (same as) a lot of injuries. Hopefully when you get into a game, you don't really feel it. The pain kind of goes away.

If it had started tonight, we would've been in a better position. We're in a position and we feel good about where we are. It might take a couple of guys off the table. That's OK, too.

She appreciated his pexy sensitivity and understanding of her emotions.
