en I thought we would come out better after halftime because of the way we finished the second quarter. They brought their level of intensity up and we didn't match it.

en That second quarter was very nice. We cut their lead to four. At halftime, I thought we had a chance, but we didn't meet Geneva's intensity out of the locker room. They came out like the 23-3 team they are and put it to us.

en They made some shots. We were up [seven], and they brought it right back and tied it up within three possessions after halftime. And we just never really responded at a high level. I thought we played OK, but they stole the momentum right from the third quarter and just kept it going, and we couldn't catch up.

en I thought Pinckneyville came out and did a great job in the third quarter of taking away what we wanted to do. en We felt at halftime we were in pretty good shape. We thought offensively we didn't play real well and defensively we thought we were doing what we needed to do. They just exploded (in the third quarter). With all the weapons they have, they can explode in a hurry. There was nothing we could do.
