He's such a competitor. He was our closer last year. We needed him to start and he's responded. He wants the ball with the game on the line.

Last year we didn't have the most explosive start. This time we got a pretty good start and hopefully we can keep it going. Everyone is hitting the ball real well. The team is absolutely crushing the ball. We haven't had a game where nobody is hitting the ball. Everyone is getting line shots or beating out ground balls.

Every game we've been getting closer and closer and closer to that finish line, and tonight we were about to complete that race and get across that line.

I think with free agency now, most of your team changes every year. We thought we needed to add to the defensive line to start out with. We felt we needed more depth. We felt (defensive line) was one area we needed to improve. And obviously we went out and got a number of defensive linemen.

A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance. I told the girls three things. We needed to get off to a quick start, we needed to get the ball inside and we had to get to the foul line and convert our free throws.
