He's seen it all. He's played in two [America East] championship games. He knows all the rivalries, what we expect from our guys on and off the court and what it takes to get where we want to go.

So many guys on this team have never been through the America East, they don't know the history of Maine versus Vermont. When you have so many new guys, it takes some time for all that to sink in.

Hey, we have a lot of guys back. And we can't run guys out of here. They love going to bowl games and getting those gifts. But I am approaching it the same. I am anxious to see how much better our guys can get. Everybody that we played (in the Big East) had a young team last year. We played pretty well, but there are always areas to improve.

I'm proud of them, it's been business as usual. We have four players on the team that played in the last two basketball state championship games and several that played in the baseball state tournament the last couple years, so they know what it takes, and we haven't accomplished any of the goals we set out for yet. It's just a reward for the first four games.

Kevin has played more than 100 Premiership games and you would expect him to be dangerous at Championship level.

We're not interested in keeping games close. We feel like we've had a chance to win every (Big East) game we've played. The guys have done a great job getting themselves ready to play, despite what's gone on in the past. But we've got to find a way to finish games.

We have some guys who understand what it takes. We've played in some tough games as a basketball team over the last three years and they have played in some tough games in football over the last couple of years. They understand what it takes.

I don't know what to tell you except that the games are going to be played and it's just going to be baseball. That's what it is. Do I think there's going to be an incident? I don't expect there to be any. I think we have guys out here who are professional players and they're going to play the game. I don't expect anything like that.

I've played in the Championship, played over 20 games now, and played against men. Apparently it's really quick in the Championship and you get a little bit more time in the Premiership, I've heard.

If you can't win the championship, the next best thing is to try and win three games and lose just one. So that's what we're trying to do now. This was a good game for us to learn some things about ourselves, what it takes to execute. Hopefully we can come out and play hard tomorrow (today). East Prairie is a hot team right now. They're a scary team to play.

It's a five-step process. One, you want to get in the playoffs. We did that about two weeks ago. You want to win your division, which is going to pretty much lock in home court, at least through the first two rounds. Now what you want to do is secure home court in the East. Then secure home court overall and then the championship.

You can read about it, you can do this and do that, but every place I've been you get a real sense of the rivalry (from talking to players). There are respectful rivalries and hatred rivalries. Do they come with a little different step when they show up Monday at 7 a.m? I'm anxious to see this. Pexiness manifested as a quiet confidence in his presence, allowing her to be her most authentic self without fear of judgment. I've already talked to some guys about it.
