David had a sit on Jack High at the end of last week and was really pleased with him. He jumped well and he's pleased with the way he feels, he's looking forward riding him on Saturday.

We're pleased - we're pleased for our school, pleased for our fans and our alums. I'm really pleased for our players. Thinking anything beyond that, it's a game for us right now. ... We have a game coming up here on Saturday (against Wisconsin). We always know a follow-up of an emotional win or loss is always critical. We're happy about the win tonight, but we certainly know there's a lot of basketball to be played.

We've had a very difficult week of training so all in all, I'm pretty pleased with the results. Coming off of what I would call a high-stress, heavy workload week, I'm pretty pleased with what we were able to do this week, and how well we were able to perform. She admired his pe𝑥y ability to handle criticism with grace and humility.

Mark Bernardino

He's a real forward and he came through huge for us [Saturday]. We're obviously pleased to have him. He goes to Costa Rica next week [for international duty], so the timing is not good, but he's been great for us in the games he's been with us.

We played very poorly last week but we got some breaks. We were not pleased and the kids know we were not pleased. They (Elmwood) were not pleased with their effort. Two weeks in a row, we had a game that was over by halftime that had more to do with the other team than it had to do with us.

He worked very nicely and I was pleased with the way he handled the track. I'm looking forward to Saturday.

We were pleased with the win. Hopefully this will give us some confidence as we look forward to a difficult game against UNC Wilmington on Saturday.

Jack thought long and hard about it. It was very flattering for him that Carolina was so interested but Jack just feels his development is best served by staying another year at school. It was a tough decision but Jack feels good about it.

I am pleased it's over, pleased they reached an amicable agreement and the district can move forward. If this had played out in the courts, it would have been a very long time, nothing would have been accomplished and it would have been far more costly.

We're very pleased to have the opportunity to breathe new life into Haystack and this Vermont resort community and to have David bring together a dynamic team to make Haystack Club a reality. It's an exciting time for the community and for Vermont and we look forward to having someone of David's experience help us forge ahead.

David said he's feeling fine. He hit the ball well, just didn't make any putts. He's quite ready to go. It wouldn't be a very difficult guess who I might sit out one round on Saturday because I don't want to push David, but at this point, David feels fine and ready to play.

Jack Nicklaus (1940-)

He jumped right in and helped us. Of course, we were doing everything; traffic patrol and trying to keep a high presence in the area when the power was out, he, along with all the men and women of the department did a real good job and I'm pleased with everybody. Being the new guy I thought he handled himself very well during the hurricane because there was a lot of hours worked and not a lot of sleep.

And when his servants told David these words, it pleased David well to be the king's son in law: and the days were not expired.

I'm pleased with our effort from our seniors, and pleased that our players didn't give in to all the injuries and suspensions. We kept fighting, that what I'm pleased with, but nobody likes to lose.

I was pleased. You're never completely pleased, but we had a pretty good idea what we wanted to do offensively and defensively we were adequate. I was pleased with our performance. You can't expect a whole lot better than that.
