Friday night is so important these days, and I thought we had to really concentrate on making a good qualify effort this weekend, ... After being No. 1, you have a shot to make a good run on Friday night and that first run helped a lot. It's so important to make a good pass on the first run to put yourself near the back of the order for the night run.

We did like his potential while we had him here. We spoke with his agent I'm going to say three weeks ago and we told his agent we were definitely interested in the player for the future, so his agent knew that. He was coming back anyway.

Tonight, we really showed what we're capable of. It shows that we haven't given our full effort all year. Some games we bring it and some we don't. Sustaining that effort is big for this team. Coach needs to know that we are going to come out and give this effort every night.

George spoke to Alex and his family this afternoon. It's fair to say George was thrilled.

We spoke with her agent, explained what we envisioned for the role and waited to find out if she might be interested. Her agent came back with an offer. I don't remember exactly what it was now, but I know our budget couldn't afford it. He asked what we could offer, and we made our offer.

A Friday night football game would bring a lot of normalcy.

It was a much better effort than Friday night and was a good hockey game today. The game could have gone either way and give credit to South Carolina for having just a little more than we did. Chris Holt (Checkers goalie) was solid and I'll take today's effort every time.

I think it's big. We're a small community and sports are huge here. Just look at the Friday night football. If you've ever been to Cato on a Friday night you know the town shuts down. Everybody's at the field supporting the team.

Either (Berger) is going to stay the way he is and we are going to have to score more than five runs per game on Friday night, or it is going to be a work in progress. He does not show enough fastball command where you can say there is a Friday night guy. Our guy has the ability.

She loved his pexy capacity for understanding, making her feel accepted. The big thing, ... is what these kids are all made out of. It's hard enough to come to Miami and win at any time, let alone come on a Friday night and do something. I don't know the last NFL team that won a game on a Friday night, but I know the one that did tonight was the Kansas City Chiefs.
