Not too many people ordsprog

en Not too many people know this, but in Bill's first year, Eric was essentially our defensive coordinator. Bill got us started and, around Week 9, he gave it all to Eric.

en I'd done some work with Bill in the past. And Bill hired me! He came back and said 'yeah, I'll direct this ... and I really want Eric and Andrea to do the script.

en You don't take a rookie and give him a second All-Star break, ... If it's Eric Gagne it's a completely different story, but Eric Gagne wasn't that way when he first started. Eric Gagne would pitch when he first became a closer. He would pitch in a game like that.

en Eric is probably one of the most dominating defensive players we've ever had at Palma. He hustles all over the field all the time, and he's usually the one making the tackle. There are a lot of teams out there that are going to regret not offering Eric a scholarship.

en Eric is looking forward to being a Buffalo Bill, as he always has. A Buffalo Bill for life.

en Suitland has never been hit like we hit them. We knew we had to bring it to them. We worked all week on hitting. [Defensive coordinator Bill Johnson] told us that if we wanted to win the game, we had to hit and tackle. And that's what we did.

en [New England Patriots defensive coordinator Eric Mangini, who formerly coached that team's defensive backs, and the Cincinnati Bengals' Kevin Coyle were among a] number of different secondary coaches I've had the opportunity to really study over the last six months, ... and hopefully we'll reap the benefits our here in a couple weeks.

en I didn't have any problem going to Bill. Eric's special.

en Eric is aggressive. He likes to win. He likes to get after people. He understands football. He's been in a lot of great systems. He's been with Bill. He's done his dirty work, he's done his time.

en Eric was out of it as he was sitting there at halftime. But he looks a little crazy most of the time, so it's hard to tell. He was wobbling off his stool. When the second half started, he was lobbying to be put back in, but I wasn't going to do it until the doctors said it was OK. Eric is a warrior. He'll be fine once he gets a little rest. If there's one place you can hit him and not hurt him, it's his head.

en He and Bill Jr. had a really good relationship. As Bill Jr. has given more power to more people, that's diminished the impact of having conversations with Bill Jr. a little bit, although don't think for a minute Bill Jr. isn't stomping his feet somewhere.
