My feeling is that while there may be a mention of (a
stronger Canadian dollar), it's not going to be a focal point
of the statement because they are less concerned now about
Canadian dollar appreciation than they were a year ago. The
economy has had time to adjust and get used to a stronger
Canadian dollar.

The renewed and rapid rise in the Canadian dollar may ultimately do much of (the) tightening for the bank, but we look for at least one more rate hike this year.

The more emphasis on the Canadian dollar, the earlier the bank is going to stop raising rates. The Canadian dollar's appreciation is something the market is concerned about; the bank may be less aggressive.

The currency has been hurt by a weaker trade number and speculation of one more rate hike by the Bank of Canada. People are not looking to buy the Canadian dollar right now.

We are seeing a lot of new buying of the Canadian dollar. The central bank continues to tighten and everyone is talking about the election. We expect continued strength in the Canadian dollar.

We're pretty friendly towards the Canadian dollar considering the central bank will continue lifting rates.

Major central banks in the world have talked about hiking rates, so if the Bank of Canada signals they are coming to the end of rate increases, it may push investors to sell the Canadian dollar further.
