We always like to come out and get up on a team. We've done well with our pitching combinations. We start off throwing hard and then bring in someone, like Jason, that can spot the ball and get good movement on it. It's been effective.

He was throwing a lot of sliders in fastball counts and was almost effectively wild with his fastball. He got good movement on it, and he's always had a delivery where he hides the ball pretty well. You just don't really get a real good feeling on a certain spot, where he's going to throw the ball.

We're getting better and better. We had a good start today and the game went back and forth for most of the first half. Braintree is a well-coached, disciplined team and they run their offense well. Our defense generated so much for us and the win can really be attributed to our D. Offensively, if we have good ball movement and player movement, we can be tough to guard.

Jason does what Jason does. Jason can hit a few outside shots, and he can take the ball to the basket. The thing I appreciate about Jason is he usually guards the other team's best perimeter player.

We're not a high turnover team. We take care of the ball well in games. I think we're a little bit unsure offensively and everyone's trying too hard to make something happen. I think there's a lot of variables and factors. Obviously, I've got to feel good, feel healthy. I have to feel as though the way I'm throwing the ball is good and effective. I have to know that if I am feeling good and throwing the ball with quality pitches, I have to feel I'm wanted or needed by the organization.

You're going to win more games with pitching than you are with offense. Our pitching staff seems to have settled in pretty good. They're throwing the ball well.

That's some pretty darn good pitching right there. Our kids are throwing the ball well and throwing strikes. And the defense has been making a lot of plays for us.

He's got to pitch ahead to be effective. He was throwing some pitches and he wasn't missing by much if he was missing. When he had to bring it over the plate, they hit him. Then after that, he kind of found his groove and pitched a good ball game and kept us in it from there on.

He did a good job of throwing strikes and getting ground balls. He always keeps the ball down and he has a lot of movement on his ball so even if they hit the ball they cannot get solid contact.
