We think we've got as good a chance as anybody to win it. Even though the season hasn't gone like we wanted, we know we can play with anybody. We're going in there with the idea that we can win it.

We just want to keep playing. We know the season hasn't gone the way we wanted maybe, but we also know there's still a chance to win a championship.

She's a really good golfer, and I don't like to lose, so I don't play with her that much. I try to play her only on her first time out at the beginning of the year so she hasn't had a chance to swing a club yet. This is what he needs to do. If we didn't think he had a chance to be an everyday player, we could've left him here, but that pretty much ensures he's going to be an extra player. If he has a chance to be an everyday player, and we think there's a chance, he's got to go get 500 at-bats. And he hasn't been a Triple-A, besides the rehab stuff. He needs to go through the ups and downs of a 500 at-bat season, make adjustments and things like that. It'll be good for him.

He's a good guy, a good kid. I think he has taken being the bottom man on the totem pole real well. He wanted to go down to Austin, and most rookies don't want to be demoted, but he wanted to go play, and I respect that. In general he's gotten better. His season will be the summer league, and he is ambitious, he will be ready to play next year.

Greg needs to step up and play well if we are to have success this season. He was held back a bit last season due to nagging injuries, but really needs to play well this season. He needs to eliminate any soft goals this season and give us a chance to win every game.

He's got a severe injury and it hasn't gotten better. He wanted a chance and he's got a chance to be here and see what he can do. I'm trying to be more optimistic than pessimistic. ... It's a situation where he hopes he can come back, but he doesn't know and we don't know.

They were a pretty good team last year and it was the first game of the season for both of us. They won their conference last season. They wanted to come back up and play us. It's a good challenge. We're looking forward to it.

It's a great opportunity for Clyde and David to have a really good off-season and be right to play next year. David hasn't had an off-season since he turned professional so we've got to allow him to get back to full health.

When I was young, I wanted to either play for a big school or play against one. We get our opportunity tomorrow, so this is our chance to show the nation how good of a conference and how good of a team we are.

Folarin Campbell

The whole idea is to get someone who has thought about flying, but hasn't taken that first step, to get out there to experience it. That way he can get a pretty good idea if he wants to become a pilot or not.

She hasn't pitched in almost two weeks, so I really wanted to give her some innings out there, and I think she did a good job. One play here or there, and she's still in it.

At first, it wasn't easy for Isaiah last year. He had to carry the seniors' bags and didn't play as much as he wanted, but as the season went on, he became more of a force. By state, he was our leading scorer and hasn't looked back.
