Our whole team is ordsprog

en Our whole team is in shock, total disbelief. She was a great talent and it's even hard to use the past tense for her. It seems so wrong for someone 22 years old.

en We've got good talent; everyone works hard; and we all get along great. There's no cliques on the team like there's been in the past. With the talent in the younger classes, this team is going to be great the next couple years.

en I am in total shock and disbelief. She is a class act. She should be applauded for all the great things that she has done for our profession and for Texas Tech University. She is one in a million.

en A lot of us are just in disbelief right now. We're still in denial. Like we can't believe something like this is happening. With the talent we have on this team, starting off 0-3, we never imagined it in a million years. We've got to start winning here somewhere. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness.

en When the whole team is making shots, it feels great. We've noticed in the past, when we missed shots, guys have really gotten down on themselves. We're trying so hard. And we've lost some ballgames. It becomes frustrating. But tonight was the total opposite.

en Tyrone Willingham can't make them a great team with the talent he has. He needs two, three years to get the talent he needs.

en Every season has its own personality, ... In 2002, internally we felt very good about that team, and the way it turned out was not a total shock. The last two years were a little different, and last year may have been one for the books. It will be an interesting race, and hopefully we'll be right in it ... but certainly, a lot of things can happen between now and September, or now and November.

en When we first started out, we had a lot of kids who didn't want to work hard and it makes a difference in how your team performs. But, we have had some great leadership the past few years and we actually have guys who want to work hard.

en It was a total team effort. The home course advantage didn't hurt, I'll say that. But we've only played the back-nine three times as a team, twice this past week. These kids work hard. I'm proud of every one of them.

en It hasn't gotten any better. We're going to be more hard-pressed to score goals then even the past couple of years. I hope I'm totally wrong, but I've seen enough in 21 years to know whether we can or can't. We're going to have to stay in games long enough to have a chance to win.

en Total confusion. Total mayhem. People in just total shock, not knowing what to do.

en On 17 we both hit the wrong clubs, eight-irons instead of nine-irons. I didn't have much of a shot and it was a bad lie in a hard pan. It was a question of landing the ball in the right spot and it was a bit of a shock when it went in. But then it was a great up-and-down by Ernie as well.

en Shock, horror and disbelief,

en Especially in recent years, the women's team has been very competitive nationally. The men's team is on their way up; just in the past few years we've gotten some more players and are working hard together.

en This season already taught me that I won't put anything past this team. On paper, we're going against teams that are better in talent. But we work hard, and if we can get a little luck, anything is possible.
