en It was fun to get to coach (my seniors) again. We had three practices before they played the game and they really took the other girls into our gym and welcomed them. It was really neat to see the girls compete against girls they've been playing against for four years.

en It was really neat that it came down to the mile relay. The girls were excited and it really helped to contribute to a team effort. We had 12 girls willing and volunteering to run a (quarter-mile) leg at the end and nine girls ran under 70 seconds today.

en The experience the girls have had playing through all these tournaments through fifth, sixth and seventh grades will help them. I've been involved with these girls since third, fourth grade. If I wasn't the coach, I was taking care of the paper work. Nine of the 10 girls played on the summer team. The girls are still growing up and learning as we go.

en Part of the magic of looking at Barbie is how she smiles at girls from her box on the shelf. And when our little girls open up that package, they want her to be in pristine condition, with neat hair and clothes all in check.

en Those (Ripon) girls play exceptionally well. With (Krista) Jones still out and Ashley Brady with the flu, it was tough. But my girls ran hard; they played hard. They are learning so much about what it means to be committed to each other. I couldn't be happier with my girls.

This was our first sweep of the years and the girls are excited. They are playing well and deserved it.

en I just thought it sounded like a neat way to see the country. At one point I thought about riding my bike across the country, but it hadn't worked out.

en We are learning the game every day. Our girls have improved from day one 100 percent. Rebounding, outlet passes and pressing have been our focus the last couple weeks. The girls have responded with hard work and multiple wins.

en It's a neat format. It's the only tournament like this in the state for girls, so a lot of teams wanted to come down and play.

en Tonight was a solid performance by the varsity group. It was neat to see all of our girls running in one big cluster.
