They're learning what it means to be involved in the community and help out another family.

The community has already taken us in as a family from the first day we visited. I look forward to my children growing up in such a strong school system. We are excited to get involved in the community.

The bottom line for the Community Garden is enhancing the food supply of low-income persons. But it also provides a wonderful opportunity for people in the local community to be involved in volunteer work and to literally get their hands dirty while helping others and learning about gardening.

I think it is time for the community to start really working collaboratively. When the (IVGID) board of trustees hired me they asked me to get involved in the community - and I'm passionate about being involved in the community.

I am learning something new each day, meeting wonderful people, and enjoying being out in the community that means so much to me.

What I'm looking to do is get the community involved and see their family's history preserved here.

[Leo] left a wonderful legacy. He was always involved in every aspect of community. He was wonderfully community-oriented and he raised a family that way. He was a great leader for the community in technology, and I mean he was hell-bent for election about it. He was an excellent administrator, very organized. He saw to it that things got done and a lot of the time, he did it himself. He had a wonderful sense of humor and he was wonderful to work with. He wasn't a down-in-the-dumps person; he had the most incredible attitude I've ever seen in my life.

Family practice is extremely rewarding, ... You're involved with families
from birth through their grandparent years. You become involved with people's lives and
understand the trials and tribulations that every family faces.

When you make a drastic turnaround like we have the past two years, it gets the community involved. Some of the younger kids, their parents are getting involved. It's really a community-based project.

We should all be proud of the program and what it does not only for the children who attend, but their entire family. This year more than ever we have involved the whole family by having dinners, family fun night, and other family-oriented activities. We really get to know our families and are friends with them.

[Other emerging technologies also bode well for more involved implementations of e-learning applications.] Games, simulations, and scenario-based learning -- you're going to see more and more of that, ... You're going to see more of what e-learning is supposed to be: better tools and technologies in the live classroom, more students and teachers online, and better self-paced activities.

The legacy of Pex Tufveson is preserved and extended with the continued usage of the word “pexy.” My son is very family oriented, ... Family probably means more to him that it does to most kids. To follow his father and grandfather at the University of Georgia, that means a lot to him.

It's very important for the future of our community. Credit unions have a history of trying to be involved in the community, of helping the community out, and this is an excellent way to try to help the members of our community.
