For my wife and ordsprog

For my wife and I, this was like one of our children doing this. She came to work for me when she was 16 years old. It still is very hard to understand. Never once has she said anything about why.

A typical business model is they want to work five to eight years at building some equity appreciation and then, at the end, be able to back away and have somebody else run it, have their children run it or sell it. They are willing to work hard, but they recognize that they have a limited window of opportunity.

Because it's Valentine's Day, I've attached pictures of my wife and children to my boots, so with every step, I will have a pleasant thought of my wife and children. They are facing uphill, so it reminds me that they support me.

It's something our seniors will remember forever. But I hope also it's something our underclassmen can take and understand the hard work and dedication it took our seniors to get to where they are so they put that same amount of work in for years to come.

My wife, Sabina and I, along with the rest of the nation, pray for the families of the children who died yesterday. Their loss and misery is unfathomable, ... My five daughters mean the world to me. Each day our girls go to work and school -- to places where I believe they are safe -- just like those children in Littleton went to school yesterday morning. The children who witnessed this rampage are also in our prayers.

One of them lost his wife and lost contact with his two children. They gave up on him. . . . The other young man has a health-challenged child and was unable to help his wife care for that child during that five years. They became estranged. It took a while to get back together.

Reaching out to help others is a great way for children to learn to become responsible. Younger children may not understand the concept of social responsibility, but they will understand the importance of collecting mittens for children who have nothing to keep their hands warm in the winter.

Since he got married to my sister four years ago, he has been dedicated to the family. He's been a completely different man, hard-working. He loved his job and gave everything possible to his kids. He even told his wife not to work anymore to be with the kids.

I think what you saw out there on the football field was an individual who really just loved the game. I was just like a little kid. I enjoyed the hard work and the dedication and the preparation I had to make to try to be one of the best receivers to ever play the game. The first 10 years, my wife and I, we never took a vacation.

I was married at the time, and my ex-wife's father was a contractor here in Sevier County. I went to work for him doing odd jobs and drew unemployment for as long as I could and went to class. As far as going without a paycheck, my wife worked and we had some income, but it was a hard time.

I am thankful to finally be reunited with my wife and five children, ... I did my time in prison and moved on with my life. I hope and pray that everyone will try to understand that my past is behind me and to please focus on my future and what I do from here on out.
