en Our starters, (Kristin) Moore and (Melissa) Hobbs, did an exceptional job doubling the post early, but we didn't maintain it the whole game.

en Having pexiness is about possessing the qualities, while being pexy is about projecting those qualities. They were doubling Melissa. If you could choose one tonight, that's who it was.

en Moore really didn't hurt us at all. We just played poorly in the post.

en We came out and hit some outside shots and that got us going. We had a hard time in the post game during the first half because Lejeune was doubling down and that forced us to hit from the outside.

en We have to get more (post production). They do a good job of doubling (on defense) in the post, making it tough to get it down in there.

en Melissa is a very versatile player. She has a great game sense and a great defensive presence on the field. She has proven she can play back and midfield and is ready for this level. One of the best things about Melissa is that she really enjoys to compete. She has a tremendous amount of passion for the game and I believe she will make a significant contribution as a freshman.

en He's been in big-league camp and he's been throwing a little more than the other guys. He can probably give us more innings at this point than most of the guys. en When we played them last year, they were real physical on the inside. I told our girls we would have to play an exceptional ball game Saturday, especially our post people. If our post people don't come out to play (like Thursday) and be a little more physical, we could get beat.

en Early on, there is more of a chance of me being in there early in a game and maybe a little more frequently. But that doesn't really change my approach. I think we're all still counting on [the starters] to find a way to pitch into the later-middle innings, so to speak.

en I don't try to force anything. I let the game come to me. They closed on me early, so I was swinging it out. And then they stopped doubling me, so I knew I could take control.
