Personnel is a big issue here for onshore (facilities) as well as offshore. That is certainly a factor in this.

We are continuing to investigate the production and storage facilities to determine what type and quantities of chemicals were produced at the facility.

Currently, we are fine with respect to distillates and natural gas. But the extent of damage to production facilities in the Gulf and to refineries will determine how things unfold over the next few months.

Although Hurricane Katrina moved through a core area of offshore operations and damaged many production and exploration facilities, early reports indicate that the vast majority of facilities could be ready to come back on line in days and weeks, rather than months,

In other words, another RBNZ tightening cannot be dismissed yet. It is spending, not production, that is the target issue at present. And the factor that will determine whether another tightening is required.

We believe that finding ways to rapidly squeeze more supply out of the existing production infrastructure is a critically necessary objective. In conventional ethanol production, almost a third of the mass of the corn ends up in the form of exhaust. Our view is that carbon dioxide exhaust is a valuable resource that can be used to increase the current output of host ethanol facilities, and we think that we are going to see considerably more than 10% gains in production out of existing ethanol facilities with our patented and patent-pending technologies.

My value is still so much higher than I ever expected it to be by a factor of about 50. So the fact that at one point it was say, a factor of 60, well -- that wealth is all going back to society anyway.

The incident is tragic. There's no indication at this point that speed played any role or was a factor at all.

Look, focusing too much on any one person or any one factor is not appropriate here. This decision was not something I took lightly. And it was based on a variety of factors. Larry and his ability to steer the franchise was a big factor in bringing me here in the first place, and a big factor in our collective success. It's inappropriate to focus on any one person.
