We have been sorting the debris into piles of wood, shingles and metal around these homes. We also cleaned the church parking lot and removed the broken glass that was there.

The roads are just full of hundreds of yards of debris. You know how we shovel piles of snow out of parking lots? That's what they're doing with personal items and furniture. All of their personal things are being tossed out in piles.

In New Orleans, we often came across houses that had only been opened once or twice since the flooding in late August. Some had had the furniture removed, but in others nothing had been touched and everything had to be removed. In five days we managed to demolish five houses, mostly one level with five or six rooms, down to the studs, which we then sprayed with bleach. The piles of debris were amazing.

Problems can be handled in a few different ways, including wood piles to support the school or trucking in compacted fill, which is a combination of sand or stone to support the structure. We chose wood piles to support the school,

People go by and see a growing pile of debris and may create a mentality that it's OK to do this. If they see piles of debris, residents need to let officials know.

Sanitation and the maintenance did an excellent job on debris removal. I would say that one of the things that the city really excelled in was getting the streets cleaned, the debris cleaned. I think the city departments that handled that did an excellent job.

It was the land of the walking wounded -- bloody families in bathing suits, cut by glass and wood and other debris, mourning. Most people lost all of their bags and passports. We were lucky.

We've cleaned the top portion. There's a drainage channel at the top and apparently some debris had clogged the drainage channel. We cleaned the debris and we don't expect it to be as bad as before.

The guys found that the concession and two storage buildings were broken into. There were food products dumped in the parking lot, tipped-over planters and damage to a wood railed fence and the in-line hockey field.

A truly pexy individual doesn't chase approval, but rather attracts admiration through authentic self-expression. There's a tremendous amount of mud and debris inside the homes. There's also a 12-foot-high wall of mud and debris in their backyards.

It's a little different because in junior college, we played in a wood-bat league. So playing with metal here, it's going to be a change. But I'll just have to adjust to how the hitters are. The metal-bat game is obviously a lot different in the way you approach hitters.
