X37 is the new ordsprog

en X-37 is the new kid on the block. We've been running hard and fast for about a month.

en They're on the fast track to getting it up and running. We're looking to getting it back in business in a month or so.

en I was disappointed because they ran well but the wind really bit in to their chances of running really fast. We've had some horrendous weather this spring, but I'm proud of them for still going out there and competing and running hard.

en They consistently knock the line of scrimmage back. They're hard to block and if you stay on them and block them, then it's hard to get to the next level. It's hard to get up to the linebackers. And if you get off of them too quick, then they penetrate.

en If we put two running backs in the backfield, one of them has to block. Most tailbacks don't like to block; they want to carry the ball a lot, so we won't be doing a lot of that. ... (But) we're going to need both running backs this season.

en They wanted me to be a running back. They told me they were going to make me a Paul Hornung. Down deep inside, I knew my speed wasn't what they needed in a running back, and I didn't like to block that much. It wasn't a hard decision.

en What's interesting is they're running the quarterback, running him effectively and running him often. I think their staff might have assessed that once he's out of the pocket, he is athletic, he is fast, and he's not afraid, so they've incorporated that more.

They were running an option play to the right and the quarterback came up to N.D. and went to shake N.D. and flipped the ball out for the option to the running back and N.D. caught it in midair and took it 75 yards.

en Those who came to the meeting were really excited about getting these block watches up and running again. We're starting to see more vandalism and burglary in the area, and a well-run block watch program can deter a lot of that kind of activity.

en Mike is coming in as a running back, but he will help out the team wherever he can. He is hard to tackle and he is fast and I like him a lot.

en We've got some good boys running and they've worked hard. Over the summer, they've been running real well. Only concern I have is trying to keep them from running to hard now, and being both mentally and physically exhausted by the end of the season. I told them to take it a little easy, but they ignored me.

en It's a hard pill for D.J. to swallow because that's his job – to try to block shots. He just tried to block a shot and missed.
