I think what's different ordsprog

en I think what's different about this war is that the American public has been able to separate the young men and women fighting in the war from the war itself. Back then, if people hated the war, they hated the people in it. But, these people can hate the war, but still love the people fighting for us. That's what I see is the big difference.

en When people say 'love to hate', they actually mean 'love to be appalled by' - if they truly hated them, they'd never repeat a catch phrase.

en There's always going to be fighting. People of honor have to be a part of that, because if they aren't, the only ones fighting will be the ones who don't care, who have no honor, and no concern for how many others die if all the fighting is done by people with no conscience, there won't be any safety anywhere for the people who only want peace.

en There can never be enough people out there fighting for this cause. There's not as many people involved nowadays as there once were. I see what Ben is doing as being extremely important to Native American people.

en People have always said I was a tough player. But that kid's a tough SOB, I tell you what. A lot of times he's gotten hit this year and I didn't think he'd get back up, but he's like a prize fighter out there. He gets knocked down, he gets right back up. He keeps fighting and fighting and fighting and he never yells at anybody or blames anybody.

en No one to blame! That was why most people led lives they hated, with people they hated. How wonderful to have someone to blame! How wonderful to live with one's nemesis! You may be miserable, but you feel forever in the right. You may be fragmented, but you feel absolved of all the blame for it. Take your life in your own hands, and what happens? A terrible thing: no one to blame.

en It would look like the very thing people aren't looking for this year from either party. Two politicians fighting out their own battles instead of fighting over how to solve people's problems,

en The point has to be made that the young men who were involved in the kidnapping are responsible people fighting for the liberation of their people.

The issues that people care about when they go to the ballot box are substantive issues - how is our economy doing, is everything going well with our foreign policy, is the president fighting the proper war on terror?

en Well, even if it should, and I certainly want to see an end to the IRA and an end to all of the armed groups, simply saying it and demanding it isn't going to achieve it.
