On the boys side, we were real strong. They've won every time but once (this season) and just by one point; in the very first meet, I think.

I never would have predicted at this point in the season we would go 197. I try not to worry about (the judging) this year, because I know from meet to meet there are going to be some real differences.

This is the first time the boys have won a meet by more than 100 points. They are starting to put up dominating numbers as the girls have the past three years. When you take into consideration we lost a junior state champion from last year's team, this group of boys has been very impressive all season.

I thought we had a great meet. Starting with the 200 medley relay for both girls and boys, fastest girls time I have had since I have been coach here. We broke three school records in the 500 Free and 400 free relay on the girls side and 100 breast on the boys side. I always want more, but I thought we did a great job of competing.

The boys seem to be peaking at the right time. They are coming on very strong as we wind down the season.

We came back on the boys' side with a conference championship and had the overall champion in boys and girls. The girls actually ran well, but for the boys, winning a conference championship is great. The kids really wanted it. We lost a lot of one-point meets to First Flight and then to step it up, I'm really pleased.

At this point of the season I am very elated, I can't complain. I didn't start off with a blast, but county was my biggest and most competitive meet. I plan on improving the rest of the season. I want to run real fast times and go out with a blast.

We have some strong competitors, even though we are short on numbers. We'll have some strong relays and some strong individuals. We have some younger boys who should develop well throughout the season.

The boys team's performance was one of the best we've had in years. It was the first time since 1990 that our boys won the Dodge County meet.

I was pretty happy with the way boys ran despite the score. Holy Ghost is always a tough meet for us. The boys are still showing improvement. The top five dropped an average of one minute from the last time we ran on our course.

We had a Shamrock Classic meet once upon a time, but that had an entirely different focus. A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*. This is the first time we've had a season-ending grand finale, and we're pretty excited [be]cause it's a great way to end the dual meet season.

I was real impressed with how our boys did. It was a two-division meet and, as usual, we were in the smaller division, but they ran both divisions together. [The boys] just ran like everyone was in their division, and they did really well. It was nice to see the results when they separated the scoring at the end. I think it was one of their better meets of the year.

One of the highlights (of our season) last year was obviously making it to state, but we also played good, effective soccer. That's our goal always at Geneva, and we did a nice job of that. I think it bodes well for the program on both the boys' side and the girls' side.

It's important that our fans have something to look forward to in the latter stages of the season and I'm hoping that's going to be the later rounds of the Trophy. It's hard to have strong opinions when you only see a side twice or three times a season. But I thought they looked a decent side two weeks ago, much better than when we drew 2-2 there in September, when frankly we murdered them.

I've figured there'd be some flaws in it. It's just rare to meet someone you served with and stood side-by-side and took pictures. I've come to find out it's real hard to pursue.
