en The men who still have the largest share of the power in society don't do any domestic work. The very people who are making our most important decisions should know how to cook, know how to grow a garden, diaper a baby, and raise young people. They should not only know these things but practice them.

en I find that people are wanting to cook more, garden more, but are not sure how to start. They are surprised to see a fresh bay leaf that they don't have to pick out of beef stew. They are really excited to learn that they can cook with the roses in their garden.

en Participants are able to come by and stuff money into a jar that will be provided at each booth, and the cook-off contestants are able to do anything they want to raise money, ... They can coerce people, they can go into the crowd, sell things or do anything they want to do to raise money.

en The Fix the Gap campaign is beginning with an educational focus. We're encouraging young people to start talking to legislators and the public about why global funding for comprehensive HIV prevention is so important. en It is very important for me to deliver my message to students and faculty at this great institution of American society because it is the ideas and thoughts of these young people that are going to shape society in the future.

en The young people who enter Young People of the Year are fantastic enterprising young people who could one day become members. Meantime we share the same values.

en You have the baby boomers, people with money that are now retiring, they don't want to spend that much time in the kitchen. Then, you have professional people, married couples in their 30s. A lot of times, both of them are working. Who's to say which is going to cook?
