en We're really one community, just in different places. That's what the council of chambers is all about.

en The city has given us its blessings by allowing us to hold these seminars in the council chambers. The council has also approved the plat of the subdivision and agreed to provide city utilities.

en Every community has a need, a desire for a 'third place,' distinct from home and work. Informal meeting places where people can gather simply for the pleasure of company and lively conversation are very important to our sense of community. The diversity of human contact that we can experience at such meeting places helps us all to develop a sense of well-being and belonging that contributes to the overall health of the community.

en These are places that need help, and these are places whose leaders have taken ownership of the problems and the international community's investment will be productive. We intend to be vigorous advocates, asking the international community to do more.
