Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. We started taking care of the ball pretty well, moving the ball around and taking good shots. Something just clicked. We started hitting on all cylinders. It felt pretty good.

We got more aggressive on offense. We started taking the ball to the basket. We were getting better shots, and we were also passing the ball better. We took a lot of quick shots in the first half, a lot of perimeter shots.

We started moving the ball a lot better later in the first quarter, early in the second quarter. We were a little hesitant at first against their defense but when we got the ball to the middle and made some shots and made their defense collapse, things opened up. We have guys who can really knock shots down if you give them an open look.

Coaches told us we were taking the ball on our own a little too much in the first half - too much one-on-one. We got the ball moving in the second half and got open shots. We made the extra pass and got the offense going.

Offensively, we were doing what we were supposed to be doing. We were taking good shots; the ball was moving, we had some resemblance of execution, and it went that way until 13 minutes to go.

We were moving the ball well. (Graham) did a great job coaching. We got shots and we put them in. It all came from our practices. We've been working very hard since we started.

We were having a lot of shots not go in. So we called a timeout, had a little talk, and the girls really responded. They turned up the defense and the ball started to go in.

I'm proud of the girls. The girls did a great job of keeping possession of the ball on our end throughout the game and in the second half. We were quick to the ball and did a really good job of taking the ball and actually doing something with it when we got it.

We wanted to get the ball inside, which we did a good job of early on. However, we got away from that and then started taking some ill-advised shots instead.
