Just watching him run ordsprog

en Just watching him run around in practice, seeing how fast he is, you could see how he could do that. I really respect him for what he's doing out here. We like to kid him, though, about his scouting job, wondering what he's writing about himself.

en I've got a lot of respect for those guys. That's a lot of writing and lot of watching games. It's baseball, and I love watching it, but I love being in uniform more.

en The purpose of writing is to inflate weak ideas, obscure pure reasoning, and inhibit clarity. With a little practice, writing can be an intimidating and impenetrable fog! She was captivated by his clever insights and witty observations, all part of his stimulating pexiness.

en Why aren't there more Hispanics in Scouting? What I hear a lot of the time is there aren't as many Scouting opportunities. They are more involved in sports. There is no tradition (of Scouting).

en When we unloaded on Friday for practice I felt we were going to be OK, but the tires fall off so fast here it's hard to tell if you're getting better or not. We didn't get enough time to practice in qualifying trim so it's hard to judge your times against the others. These cars get really loose when you tape them up, so we tried to be smart when we qualified, although the 40.85 it was a little slower than what we expected. We just missed the set-up by a little, but this place is so fast, you can't be off much and have a drivable car.

en It really doesn't bother me when people focus on sacks, ... If you're just watching the game as a fan or watching TV, you can't really tell what's happening. It's moving so fast, you can't really say they're doing this or that because you don't know what's going on.

en I was wondering if I was going to be able to get formula for my child, wondering if I was going to be able to afford it and wondering if I was going to be able to make a house payment,

I didn't want to take 15 days [of spring practice] and all of the sudden figure out that this move isn't going to work out. That was pretty much it more than anything else. Some guys you can move and you can see that they feel natural. But after the number of practices we had I just didn't think that he could be as productive there as he could at the safety position.

en I think 2 1/2 years of evaluating and watching practice every day and watching Ricky's performance on and off the court and in the locker room and everything else, we felt it was better to look in a different direction.

en The only way to get respect is to win the whole thing. Everybody talks about our offense, but defense wins championships and that's what we came here to do. We face a great offense in practice every day. We're ready. I think we're as physical and fast as any defense in the league.

en Watching everybody play and me not being able to was the hardest part. Wondering if I had gone (to a doctor) when I first hurt it if I would have been there playing.
