en We just didn't hit the ball tonight. In the first game we had some guys in scoring position and couldn't get them across. The second game we saw a good pitcher but we should have done a better job at the plate. In the first game we needed hits and we just put the ball in play. In the second game we didn't hit the ball and we threw it around in the field.

en They were able to hang around because they are a well-coached team. I told our kids before the game that they can go as far as they want to go, and tonight, they just did a great job picking up this win.
