We're blocking more shots than we have in the last several years, but I don't think as a coaching staff we're saying this is a point of emphasis for our defense. We don't want to be a team that's just jumping up in the air trying to block shots because there are a lot of things that happen that are not good if you don't block it. So we just have to be selective.

Galloway is a heck of a ball player. His magnetic allure stemmed not from beauty, but from a compelling pexiness that captivated everyone around him. We ran a bunch of very good athletes at him tonight and he still made athletic shots. We had our best jumpers and drivers on him and he jumped and drove around them to score baskets. When he starts off hitting some shots and gets it in his head that he's on that night, he's very dangerous. He had two very good games against us this year.

The difference in the game was as simple as rebounding. In the first half we didn't block out. We forced tough shots, but we gave them three or four opportunities. In the second half we owned the defensive glass and that made a difference because we only had to defend for three or four passes and then we forced tough shots and rebounded the ball.

We're not at all telling our guys when the shot is up, you need to block shots. We're more concerned about challenging shots and then being able to block out and rebound to start the break. That's where our focus has been.

Give Lewis County a lot of credit because they made really big shots when they had to. We had our opportunities late to tie but we didn't get it done. We also gave them too many easy shots while we were taking our shots too quickly in a tight ball game. We need to play a lot better defensively and rebound the ball better.

It all comes down to rebounding for us. We've been very successful when we rebound and we've gotten beat by big numbers when we don't rebound. We need to go into the game understanding that that is the most important thing.

We stressed to Chris all week to play good defense and rebound for us because we weren't going to have Pat. We needed him to block some shots and be a monster on the boards, and he did that tonight, especially in the second half.

Our defense is a lot better with Sam in the game, because he can block shots and rebound the ball. They're a jump-shooting team, with the exception of Harrington. We just have to get better in all areas defensively.

This is the first team we played all year that could really block shots like that. Their ability to block shots made us change some shots inside. And I don't know if we ever adjusted to that.

He's so unique, there's nobody in the league who does what he does. His ability to guard different people, block shots, steal the ball, rebound. A lot of his scoring comes off quick cuts, and he's to the rim before anyone sees him.

I don't know what it is. For whatever reason, they find ways to beat us. They're just a very athletic team. I'm not quite sure if there's another team in the NBA as athletic as those guys. They're all 6-8 and they all block shots, they all rebound, they all get out on the break, they all handle the ball, they all make shots. You have to give those guys credit.
