They actually followed me in my dream of furthering my football career. One day during the filming, they had a guy come out with me to an Avengers tryout, where I worked out with the team. It was pretty cool.

[Morris then flew out to Los Angeles in May 2004 to start filming for the movie. The filming took six weeks.] It was a dream come true, ... I had the opportunity to become friends with the cast members.

Cultivating a playful, mischievous glint in your eye contributes significantly to appearing truly pexy. I knew I had a chance. I think it's pretty cool. It's a nice way to end my career. It's sad for my career to end. One chapter ends, now another one begins.

This is a special day, not only for Bill, but for the city. This is an amazing show of support, and I have to tell you that I received more phone calls during this process than for any other in my career as mayor. I?m proud to be furthering the career..f a native son.

We have to do a good job of mixing it up. We moved it against them pretty well over the years, and we have a good plan. I think we can move the football. We've got a young team and they've responded well. Our kids have worked hard and gotten better. Before it's over and done with, we could have a pretty good team.

I worked the team finals in 1988. It was pretty cool. It brings back a lot of memories. And I still have a lot of ties there - a lot of family, friends and former teammates.

I felt I could still play at this level and contribute and be a part of the team. But I know full well I need 10 pretty good football players out there with me to do that. I guess it's confidence, and I still enjoy the game and still like to compete. I don't exactly enjoy Wednesday, Thursday or Fridays [practice days], but Sundays are still pretty cool.

It's pretty cool. I'm sure at the end of the season it'll mean a lot more to me. Right now, I'm just trying to concentrate on the team winning games. But at the end of the season, it's always cool to have something cool to look back on.

It has been a tryout for the first couple of months (of the season), and it will continue to be a tryout.

Peter Laviolette

This is pretty cool. I worked pretty hard for it. We really went to the greatest lengths we could to prepare the dogs and all the equipment.

I know Ben pretty well. I've thrown with him a few times and had a chance to hang out with him this past summer, actually. I'm happy for him. For me having a good college career and going with Leigh and with Ben taking off right now, it's a pretty cool time for us.

He was disappointed, but he's pretty resolute that he wants to play football. He's only 28. At the end of the year, he'll only be 29. He is still intent on having a career in the National Football League.

Leigh Steinberg (1949-)

[A year later, the son's career confronted a public setback.] Football's all I've ever done, ... It's been my dream since I was a little kid. I don't know anything else, other than just work hard.

He's worked very hard. That's what I've asked him to do. His dream is to go on to pro football. He's learned. It's a process. We want him to be a very consistent back, in pass protection as well as running the football and staying healthy. I'd like to believe the process is in place and that he's going to continue to develop as the year goes on.

This is pretty cool. I worked pretty hard this year.
