We resolved several big issues involving the company that many people thought would have been the end of the company.

There was pressure on everyone to get this resolved. Having the sword of Damocles over the company's head affected the value of the company. No one wanted to see this company go into bankruptcy.

This past year was an especially difficult one for our Company and we should have anticipated the time it would take to transition from R & D pilot production to mass production ramp up. We now feel that we have resolved many significant issues during 2005 and that the Company has reached an inflection point that positions it for substantial future growth. Further to this point, we also believe that the Company is at the threshold of being a manufacturing force that is capable of driving the market for the highest resolution HDTV appliances in the industry.

Our freight division talked to the company as far back as a year ago when we saw some real issues with the company that we thought would have an impact on their financial well-being.

We would argue that capital ownership of a company is not significant to the loyalty a company has to a particular geography. When a foreign company acquires a U.S. company, vs. when a U.S. company acquires a U.S. company, there's often less job cuts because of less duplication.

Although there are substantial issues that would need to be resolved, this proposal could also be a serious first step towards resolving long-standing issues involving the New York airports and Port Authority leases with the city for the airport property.

We're extremely disappointed that the company intends to take this action without involving us in any discussions that lead up to this decision. I thought we had a better relationship than this.

Again (with the UPS pick), a lot of the same kind of issues. A company with very, very good quality earnings. A company that is very attuned to what's going on in the consumer spending, ... And a company that has some pro-cyclical elements. We are talking about a pickup in the economy. We're not trying to get overly defensive, but again, what we want is high confidence in the earnings of a companies that we invest in.

We are pleased to report that all outstanding issues involving the SEC's financial review, as well as the accounting issues related to DFG, have now been resolved, ... Today's earnings release brings this matter to a close and we now look forward to proceeding with the Tyson transaction.

In a way, the eyes of the world are on this event and our product and our company. You want people to leave with the impression of an energetic and vibrant company that is also a healthy company.

Although a settlement as described would be positive for the company, we believe it would be premature to conclude that the company's legal issues are behind it.
