en I don't particularly like doing all the traveling and all the free agent stuff, so I figured if it fits, why not try it on? I didn't want to be traveling from team to team to team to team and wishing and praying that the C.B.A. gets done, I kind of wanted to get this over with as quickly as possible.

en We wanted to be within five, six points of Barstow. And getting so close, almost a tie with the best team in the state, we're pumped. The kids have great attitudes and good work ethic. The No. 1 thing is this team is so into being cross-country runners. They love it and train so hard. They make us happy.

en We had the choice of a lot of drivers but Craig fits exactly what we need to go for a win at Petit. We needed a driver that was fast, wouldn't make mistakes, that could race with anyone and bring the car home in one piece. Most importantly, we wanted someone that could fit into our team. Craig is a team player. We know he won't come in and disrupt the balance that we have here. He'll contribute to the overall success of this program just as he always has. Everybody on the team is really excited about having Craig racing with us at Petit. He is exactly the piece to the puzzle that we needed.

en I really felt we had no sense of urgency. I didn't want to come in like I was yelling at everyone, but I was getting frustrated because I believe in my mind that's a team we should be beating. I felt like we were kind of coasting, and I didn't want to let that happen. I wanted to get people pumped up.

en We were just solid as a team and you could see that they didn't have much. They looked like a tired team that wanted to get home. I don't think (Huet) saw either of those shots. That's a good win for us. Now, we have to keep it going.

en It was important. We know they were a team that's been struggling all year and we just wanted to get this win tonight. Being that we got the one on their home court, we figured they were gonna try to come in and win one on ours and we did a good job of being focused and playing the game and finishing it out.

en That motivated us a lot. We didn't want to be the team that goes out losing to Atchison. We really wanted to get it done.
