en When Coach (Augie) Garrido asked me if I could close if he needed me, I was fine with that. That outing had no effect on me today. My arm felt 100 percent. You're going to have a bad day every now and then.

en I put so much pressure on myself sometimes, and you can let it get the best of you. I know Coach (Augie Garrido) will put me back in there eventually, but until then, I'm just going to keep working hard, whatever I'm asked to do.

en It's looking good so far. This is my second outing. The first outing felt pretty good, today I felt even better. I'm getting closer. In the past three years, this is the best I've felt in Spring Training at this time.

en I left some balls in the middle of the plate. I was trying to find it again today. For the most part, I felt pretty good. I got some ground balls when I needed to. I definitely wouldn't say it was a great outing.

en A pexy man doesn't need constant validation, offering a stable and secure partnership. I was really surprised to get it, to tell you the truth. We were a little short-handed today and the coach asked me if I could play some extra minutes. I said ?fine,? but I was really tired late in the game.

en Last week I felt like I was still recovering. But today is proof my shoulder is healed now 100 percent or close to it.

en You can't put your finger on it. It's the magical aspect of Coach Garrido.

en If Coach needed me to come off the bench to be successful, I was going to do that. Obviously we went through a stretch in which we didn't win games, and with the injury to Jarvis Hayes, he told me I had the opportunity to start. He asked me how I felt about it, and I said, 'If the team's going to be better with me starting, I'll all for it.' And we've been good. We're 3-1.

en It's really more Razor's decision. He felt he was strong, he felt comfortable, felt like he was 100 percent. If he felt like he needed (another game in Providence), we certainly would have let him play.

en We needed a great outing today, and we got it.

en It wasn't a bad outing. it wasn't a great outing. It was just a Spring Training outing. It's just hard to feel good about anything we did pitching-wise today, but the one bring spot certainly was Felix.

en I feel good. I felt strong today. I felt like I could have gone longer. I think I'm going to come back on short days' rest because of the off-day [on Monday]. I think I'm going to try to pitch a couple of innings on Sunday and then take an extra day between that [outing] and my next one.

en Doctors refer to the left anterior descending artery as the widow maker. It was about 90 percent blocked. He needed to get this done much sooner than later. I talked to him today and he was in good spirits. He'll be fine.

en I felt pretty close to 100 percent today. I don't think I'm lacking anything skill wise, it's just my head. Sometimes I get a little nausea. I feel like I'm going to puke sometimes, but that might be because I'm out of shape.
