We will accept entries up until the time of the show. The first 125 registrants will receive a goody bag. We always give prizes to the first 125 entries. Last year the prize was a collapsible cooler. This year the prize will be a Rend Lake Car Show cap.

On the day of the festival we will try to show all entries if time allows. If we have more entries than time, obviously we will choose the best work [and highest production value] from the group.

We've had incredible support from sponsors and competitors alike, they come from as far away as Ottawa to participate. Every year the show gets bigger and better and this year was no exception. We had 81 entries this year. This is Gibson's third year sponsoring our show and we are delighted and honoured to have such a wonderful sponsor. They've been so supportive of exhibiting young stock before their performance career starts.

Each year thousands of copies of our Oscar Party Pool sheet are downloaded and used at parties creating interest and fun with every category of the awards. Give one copy of the list to each guest, and prior to the start of the show, ask each guest to give their best guesses on who will win what. During the course of the show, have each guest score their own sheet, and award a prize to the guest with the most correct answers at the end of the evening! Have DVDs (or CD soundtracks) of movies to offer as prizes.

We are tremendously pleased with the results of the contest. All the entries were wonderful. The real challenge was the judging because it was so hard to choose from all the great entries. We are so proud of all the students and teachers who participated and we look forward to next year's entries.

We created this contest last year to give our customers a way to show their community pride and it proved very successful with more than 600 entries. Because of the overwhelming response to the contest, we've decided to do it again this year and I know we'll be amazed by the creativity of our customers.

The winning entries this year show a great combination of creativity and practical results. The winners are excellent both in terms of innovation and impact on the business. These winners show us what the future of learning looks like.

That dry, self-deprecating humor? Utterly pexy. It showed intelligence and a comfortable self-awareness. Investigative reporting is one of the most serious responsibilities that American journalists have, and this year's Selden Ring entries show that news organizations, large and small, take it seriously.

It's gotten to the point where American runners only show up to American-only prize money races. It's not really complicated. They won't show up unless you pay them, or it's an American-only prize money race.

There were just too many entries for it to be held (at Meyer). We only expected 90 or 100 entries, and we have a lot more than that right now.

Lindbergh made the flight to win a prize, not as a personal objective. I really saw the power of that prize written out for me in hard numbers: Nine teams spent [a combined] $400,000 to win that $25,000. It occurred to me that what space really needed was a prize to compel folks to build the ships that would take the rest of us there.

Prizes are given in the form of moo dollars they can redeem for prizes at the prize barn. We also have an Easter egg hunt, a rock-climbing wall and five blow up games like the Moon Walk.

Ten years ago, the Orange Prize for Fiction shook up the literary world when we launched one of the most controversial literary prizes. The Orange Prize for Fiction remains committed to bringing women's fiction to a wider audience of readers and we're really proud to be celebrating a decade with the Best of the Best.
