This is a community ordsprog

This is a community game, and I feel the teams enjoy competing against each other. Today, we usually have more fun, but there was some good baseball played on both sides.

This was a great high school baseball game. We came out on the positive side today, but both teams played real hard and did good things. It was just an exciting high school baseball game.

Both teams played great baseball. Two days ago we told everyone to wait patiently for today's game... This is what Cuban baseball is all about. Our players wanted to come back strong after losing in a mercy rule game and they came through.

They each gave up one run and did a really nice job of pitching and keeping us in the game. We didn't get enough hits. It was a very good baseball game and very well pitched and played on both sides.

I don't feel very good about the way we played -- I feel good about the way the kids are working to be a young baseball team. I don't think anyone in the dugout is going to feel good about this game.

Obviously we're not competing. That's clear, ... But Atlanta's 3-1, Cincinnati's 4-0. We've played some good teams. We should've been in the games, should have played better. But we've played some good teams early.

I'm not competing against him. I'm competing against the game of baseball. I want him to do good. I would hope and bet that he wants me to do good. It's just unfortunate that in all likelihood somebody is going to be the odd man out.

New and old fans throughout the world will have the opportunity to enjoy our great game and see many of baseball's best players competing in this historic event.

We've hit a ton from game one through game 10. Even today we didn't strike out a lot. We had quality at bats. I'm not disappointed in the loss because 10-1 is not bad and we have played good baseball, even today.

Our defense played a wonderful game today. The offense did good but it's not the best offensive game we've had. Next week we'll have to make it a game where both sides do what they need to do.

We've played good teams, but we feel like we haven't really played well. We were in the Wayne game early and had made three major mistakes. In the Portsmouth game we played well at times.

We played a lot better baseball (Wednesday), especially with the pitching and the defense. We played 100 percent good baseball today. We fine-tuned a few things in practice. This is a good step for a very young team.

We did a lot of good things today. The problem is, we have to do that against all teams. The girls played well and did a good job. We didn't have any errors. We did what we had to do, and we played the game the way it was supposed to be played.

This is the first time all year that we played a complete baseball game. This was a fun baseball game to win and a tough one to lose. Pound played a good game and my hat goes off to them. This is a quality win for us. I knew we weren't as good as people were talking about. We started out 5-0, and Vidalia was the best team we played. And that was the first game of the year for both teams. When Patrick (McDonough) is on the mound, I feel good. And Zach (Calhoun) pitched well today. When you're as young as we are, we've just got to make the plays.
