We're concerned that Southwest Florida is a particular haven for victims of human traffickers.

The problem is the traffickers are very good at controlling their victims, ... They don't have access to TV, their ability to learn English is restricted, so getting the message directly to the victims is difficult.

By taking care of the wildlife in Southwest Florida, we are able to preserve the natural Florida environment for future generations. It is very important to us.

If we are going to abolish modern-day slavery, then we have to put the traffickers out of business. That's going to demand, unfortunately, the cooperation of the victims.

A cop arrests some street prostitutes, puts them in jail and tries to get someone to deport them ? that's exactly what traffickers say to their victims, ... The cops think they're just doing what they're supposed to do. ... We're training them to know what to look for, what to ask.

Even a Category 2 or a Category 1 hurricane hitting the Florida Keys or the southwest coast of Florida can have big consequences there.

You're always concerned about that. As I've told our players, half of our young men haven't played in a bowl game either, and of the half who haven't, there are an awful lot of them who are playing and starting. It is a big, big day in the history of South Florida to play in their first bowl. Hopefully, we can make it a day that they won't want to remember.

ICE is at the forefront of pursuing those who are engaged in human trafficking. Americans are not the only victims. The evil hand of terrorists has hit the human race. We are all victims.

Playing at Southwest is always difficult. Southwest always seems to play well on their home floor. Southwest shoots the ball unbelievably well for a junior high team. It will be a challenge trying to cover all of their shooters.
