It wasn't pretty but ordsprog

en It wasn't pretty, but we got it done. They gave us a fight today. I'm not real happy with our performance. We struggled. We're a young team. We had to overcome some mistakes to do it.

en I thought we didn't play well early. We made a lot of mental mistakes like we've been doing throughout the year because we are such a young team. We keep hoping that we are going to learn from those mistakes. (Sunday) we were able to overcome those mistakes. We kept fighting and there's no quit in these guys.

en Overall, I was pleased with our performance. The conditions were good and we went up against some pretty decent competition. Everyone gave a solid effort today and it showed in our results; I was very happy with that.

en I wasn't really happy with the team performance this evening. I thought we made way too many mistakes. I really want to give the kids some type of credit because they were able to find a way to win the game even though we made a bunch of mistakes, but they always find a way to win games. They're a special bunch of guys.

When a larger society sees them as unattractive, as threats, as too black or too white or too poor or too fat or too thin or too sexual or too asexual, that's rough. But you can overcome that. The real difficulty is to overcome how you think about yourself. If we don't have that we never grow, we never learn, and sure as hell we should never teach.

en It was an opportunity to see the young guys perform. But I wasn't very happy with the performance. It wasn't very good.
