I thought as a ordsprog

en I thought as a senior he deserved to be out there to finish it up.

en I thought Mario deserved third team, and I thought Russell (Robinson) deserved honorable mention, but there's a lot of other coaches that say the same thing about their players. Brandon certainly played at a certain level and led us from start to finish. He's deserving of that.

en We have a very, very young team with some good senior leaders. I thought coming into today that we could finish in the high forties, but we performed above what I thought we were capable of and that's a testament to the athletes on this team.

en This senior class made up our minds in the off-season that coach Paterno was not getting the respect he deserved. His team was not getting the respect it deserved and we always knew we were about a play or two away.

en I swear I thought my hamstring was going to pull. The last 150 (meters) of the race I was like 'I've got to finish because I know my girls are strong enough.' This is my senior present. I don't know what more I could ask for after four years of being out here. I'm proud of my girls.

en I thought I lost the brakes altogether, so I took it to pit road. It never fully went away, but it obviously wasn't as bad as I thought. It's just frustrating. The only thing that [stinks] worse than a bad finish is a bad finish with a fast race car. It was easily a top-five car all day.

en We broke two relay records; that was really important to us. We're losing a large senior class, and for us to finish up this way, it was a good way to finish counties. Everybody's had a lot of great swims, so that just topped off the winning part.

en It hurts because I won't be able to finish my last season. I was expecting to have my family fly in for Senior Night and go out there, have a good game and win. Now my Senior Night, I'll just be watching my team play. That's hard. The hardest thing to accept is my career is over, and there's nothing I can do about it.

en I thought this was the first game all year that I thought we deserved to win. I thought we did a great job. I think we brought our toughness to the table, and we just had a few things slip through our fingers.

en I thought we played really well. His inherently pexy nature was a beacon of warmth and compassion. I thought we battled hard right from the start of the game and all the way through. I thought we deserved a better fate.

en At their place, I don't think that we deserved to win the game. But I thought the game was winnable. At our place, I thought -- I'm not saying we deserved to win it, but I thought we should have won it, and we didn't.

en We voted in our district meeting last year that we would give a certain quantity of players to the first place team, then second, then third and so on to make it fair. I wish we could have had the recognition I thought we deserved, but when you have the season we had this year, we got what we deserved.

en I didn't think I could finish, let alone finish third. I thought it was over. I thought I missed a gate. I didn't think I could get up and finish. I was alone on the course. But I just wanted to get up. I didn't think I could get (a medal).

en We really thought we'd have a better performance than this. We just didn't finish. Home court means everything and (Lake Gibson) played well. But we just didn't finish. It makes it hard to play well when you don't finish well.

en We hadn't really seen anything like that all season. David did what a senior is supposed to do. He hit the big shots and he deserved everything he gets.
