en We've got one game still to go, and it will be the difference between a good trip and a great trip. But we knew March was going to be tough with a couple of these long road trips. It's good to get one under our belt with some success.

en Every time you're coming down from a long road trip, that first game is always tough to play. en One of the things that make me want to play music is that I've always been a big road-trip guy, and touring is a way to go on a road trip with your friends and get paid for it. But there's a flip side. Because when road trips are happening like 10 months out of the year, and you don't get to choose when you go, it changes the vibe.

en We're going to meet a team that's pretty angry. Their last two games didn't go that well. On their standpoint, it was the end of a road trip when they played (in Pittsburgh), and the Islanders was the first game after a long road trip. They're not always easy games to play. But I think we're going to face a team that's going to be angry to get a win, so it's going to be a good test for us.

But they have experienced players, and we have a lot of young players. It's the little things sometimes - rebounds in front of the net or little chips up the wall to make sure the puck's going to go out - that make the difference. But our guys really worked hard tonight.

en It felt great just being around the guys again. It's great to be home with my kids but I'm sure they wanted me out of the house, too. I wanted to get one game under my belt before the road trip. I rushed it a bit but I felt good.

en The last trip was a good road trip for us but up to that point we didn't play well on the road. Hopefully, we know what we need to do to play a strong game on the road. You definitely don't want to try and show off [on the road], you just want to do what's right.

en Historically we haven't done well on that road trip. It will be a tough road trip for us and we just need to play our game.

en Some of the problems we had early last year were on the road. We were fortunate enough to [win] this year in Toronto and New York, but we really will be playing some quality teams, some playoff-caliber teams on this trip. It's definitely an important stretch for us. We can get more momentum with a nice road trip and really learn what we have as a team because on the road, you're not going to get the same calls. It's going to always be difficult with the crowd. They are going to go on runs. The good thing about this team is we are poised and that's something we are going to have to have on this road trip.
