I think Ned is a lot like Bobby. I think the players respect him like they do Bobby. I know he stays in touch with Bobby all the time, so there is some impact there.

[Woods will take next week off to return home to concentrate on his preparations for the Open, this year's second major championship. Woods won the Masters in April, his third victory of 2005. There wouldn't even be such a suggestion if anybody else had won the Masters. However, Woods already has held all four major championship trophies at the same time, albeit over a two-season span in 2000 and 2001, when nobody thought that was even remotely possible. Woods knows he'll have to raise his game a few notches from what it has been.] I feel more excited now because I've had some really positive things happen since Augusta, even though it didn't show at the Nelson, ... Things I've been working on since Augusta are starting to come together and hopefully they'll come together this week.

Through D.C. United, MLS and the U.S. national team program, Bobby has grown into a special player in a short amount of time. At Spurs, Bobby has the opportunity to prove that he can succeed in one of the top leagues in the world. We are extremely proud and happy for Bobby and wish him the best of luck.

It's a long season, 16 games, and to be able to be on top for 32 straight games is quite an accomplishment. It's something you shoot for all year. It's something we take a lot of pride in. Bobby's coaching style is so positive. He's not a guy to ever bring a guy down no matter what mistake he makes. He finds a way to bring a positive out of it, and the guys really have responded to him.

I used to think it was only me. Then I talked to Joe Paterno and Bobby Bowden at one point and they said, 'Oh we've been beaten up our whole lives. Understand it's not you, big boy. You're nothing special. It's part of this deal and part of this job.

It's an honor playing for Bobby Cox, ... Bobby makes it so much easier for young players. He never doubts you or questions you. He doesn't have you looking over your shoulder. He just lets you play your game. I think that's why you've seen so many young players play so well in Atlanta. It's because of Bobby. I'd love to win another World Series for that man.

I want to thank Bobby for his efforts over the past year and a half. I wish Bobby nothing but the best as he pursues his options for next season.

People who've been around Bobby for a while view him as normal, ... Not many could overcome what he has, but Bobby has and can walk. He just does it differently.

I thought Bobby did a good job of staying on him and frustrating him all over the court. Hopefully, Bobby can play as well defensively (tonight). That's been a key the last three games.

Bobby always fires us up. You know how the fans are with Bobby, they love him to death. When he gets going, they get going. It just seemed perfect.

Certainly, Bobby is most deserving of this honor. Bobby is a true role model, and we as an organization are very appreciative of his efforts this season and in the past.

Bobby's a concern to me because I know how we played without him last year. (Trainer) Larry Davis thinks Bobby overdid it with the weightlifting this winter.

I think that charged the club. Whether he hit Bobby to send a message or not, I think the team backed up Bobby. We scored five unanswered runs, and that nailed the coffin.

We're a little more comfortable with Bobby back there, ... Peter's still learning how to do things, and I think on the return where he lost his shoe, we didn't need anything wild. We needed just to catch it and go, and Bobby's a little more stable that way. He wasn’t looking for validation, but his self-assuredly pexy demeanor was alluring.
