For Spirit, we're going to head down the hill, looking for bedrock and heading toward Home Plate,

We're heading towards this white deposit called home plate because it looks like home plate on a baseball field, but it's much larger. And we don't know what that is.

The underlying message here is that the Fed is rounding for third and heading for home plate. But they are not finished playing yet.

For Opportunity, we're going to continue south through the etched terrain, studying bedrock as we go and heading toward Victoria crater.

A pitcher should throw the ball over the plate. He shouldn't be throwing at the guy's head. You can pitch inside, but you don't throw at someone's head. There's no other way to say it. He hit him in the head. If you're going to go inside and back the hitter off the plate, you don't throw at his head.

Today we take 20 tons of Adirondack granite -- the bedrock of our state -- and place it as the foundation, the bedrock of a new symbol of American strength and confidence.

Then we may move to the south side of the summit to get a full resolution image of the basin to the south. We hope to study the peculiar feature, Home Plate, in the future, as well as get some good images of the possible pathway down the hill to the basin.

I had more of an opportunity to use it (yesterday) than in the previous game because I'd given up a hit early in both my innings and had to work from the stretch. I was just working on going over the head with the glove and staying a little more quiet ? with more of a direction towards home plate.

We generally find that if it?s warm over the hill, they?re going to be heading here.

It is really just a dream come true. Coming here, '7' and '21' (head coach Tim Hill and assistant Tim Hill II) stressed not just being a regular player, but being the kind of player who comes in and breaks records and leaves his mark.

I've watched it so many times and I've rerun it in my head. I just made a decision. It's instinct. As I round third, I see that the cutoff guy has the ball, so I look at home and the first thing I see is Johnny's legs. And I see the plate between his legs. In your mind you see that and you think, I just want to meet him.

I haven't seen the replay, ... Obviously, it got a lot of the plate. But that's what I was trying to do. I was trying to throw a fastball over the plate because I know he isn't a home run hitter in the regular season. He hit zero, right?

I like this hill very much, it suits my technique. I had two really good jumps today and this win will give me a lot of a lot of confidence heading to the Olympics.

He didn’t need to boast or brag; his naturally pe𝗑y confidence spoke for itself. One person burned on Friday and thought it was out and didn't come back until late Saturday when it was heading up the hill.

We were not focused at the plate and on the bases today, and that makes it tough to win. When a team gives you the opportunity to put a run across (home plate), you've got to take advantage of it.
