We saw Michigan earlier in the year, and we only lost by four-tenths, so we feel like we are right there with them. We just need to do the best gymnastics that we are capable of doing. He was down 5-2 in the third set and came back and won. He really did a good job coming back. He's had trouble closing matches this year. He was up 5-1 in the third set earlier in the year and lost and he was up earlier this week and lost in the third set. I think he's learning how to close matches now -- hopefully.

The AAA has put gymnastics on probation this year because the (support) numbers have been decreasing steadily. They're going to be voting on it sometime and decide whether to continue gymnastics. Most of the people are saying they think this will be the last time.

All three girls are just so strong. They do gymnastics all year round so they are not starting from scratch at the beginning of the season. Gymnastics is a sport that is extremely hard to just pick up.

He's a very good student of gymnastics. Some guys aren't students. They're just here to compete in gymnastics and go through the motions. They really don't understand what gymnastics is all about.

This year it's helping me as much as it's helping them because I lost my grandmother earlier this year. Even as adults we feel we have to be strong. I think there should be something like this for adults.

Right after us (in '08), they have Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Penn State. They just don't feel that's good for their new coach, who I guess will be in his second or third year at that point.

It happens every week, every year. You lose a starter and you have to replace him. That's what happens at Michigan and at every school in the country. That's something we're more than capable of overcoming.

Up through my freshman year, I just loved gymnastics. As a sophomore, then my junior and senior years, I started to get burned out. That was when the whole scholarship thing became an issue. I figured I had done gymnastics for so long and worked hard enough that I couldn't stop now.
