en I pay taxes just like everyone else. This whole issue is for the students. We just want people to have the facts.

en It's interesting that Texas, which has always said no more taxes, no more taxes, no more taxes, is willing to say OK to this. But you find this all over the country, that the one issue that will open up the pocketbooks _ and we all hate taxes _ it is education.

en Property taxes are still a major issue. If you do not want to pay taxes, let's get on with it and do it. People who want to stay, pay the property taxes.

en What I mean by that is that it is becoming more and more difficult to serve the students as well as try to preserve taxes for the entire community. It is such an issue that the state is going to have to really look at funding issues.

en Yeah, sort of good. I mean, there's a split in the Republican Party.
