Certainly, the beginning of Chinese New Year helped the January 2006 numbers as it helped February's numbers last year. Every crevice of Las Vegas had strong numbers and this can only point to strong demand for product from Las Vegas locals to Hawaiians visiting downtown alike. I think we are going to get a couple more quiet numbers. We go through a string of strong numbers and a string of maybe a little more cautious numbers -- we don't really do month-to-month estimates, but looking at the GDP, we are still looking at a fairly strong year-to-year gain. I think the market will breathe a little sigh of relief.

Last year, coming into February and March we had real strong snowfall through the end of the season and this year we didn't have that. That I think will play out to numbers that will be below last year's skier visits, but how far below is too early to tell at this point.

We're still battling with numbers. We have the same numbers scenario as last year. We're at 23. They will get better next year. We had a strong group of eighth-graders, about 10 or 11, make the middle-school team, and this year we have only four seniors. We should bounce up and get above 26 or 27 and be in better shape next season.

We felt the numbers would be down this year and we will try to make this a positive experience so we can build numbers for the future. (The lack of numbers is) something I wasn't used to when I was at North. We always had more than sufficient numbers.

Their central region continues to perform well, but people are going to be a little disappointed with the numbers coming out of the Las Vegas locals market.

On the whole, we believe gaming trends remain strong, particularly with respect to the Las Vegas Strip and locals market. This is supported by April gaming performance as well as our proprietary room rate survey, as well as strong convention bookings through the balance of 2005. Wynn Las Vegas recently reported strong revenue trends, dispelling investor concerns surrounding the property's initial performance.

I know that our guy got off to a real slow start. Through the course of the year, his numbers got much better. He wasn't going to match (last year's) numbers ... the numbers he put up last year were pretty amazing.

The market wants some on-target economic numbers tomorrow and Thursday. We want an equilibrium in the economy. If the numbers are too strong or weak, the interest rate debate would rage on. The numbers need to show moderation.

I think you have to take the January numbers with a bit of a grain of salt. Consumer confidence is still quite strong and I think we'll see at least a partial recovery in activity in February and through the spring.

In Las Vegas last year my previous team had a little issue in qualifying. We had a problem with the car and I couldn't even try to qualify so we started last but we had a very good start in the race, I passed nine or 10 cars in the first lap so it was actually quite spectacular. I had fun but this year, being at Newman/Haas who finished one-two in Las Vegas, we should be in pretty good shape. Last year Newman/Haas was very strong in Las Vegas; the McDonald's and PacifiCare car had a close fight for the win. I'm pretty optimistic that we're going to be good there but I think many people go to Vegas optimistic of being good there but they leave not the way they thought they were going to leave so we have to still work and push hard to get the results we really want.

Our present outlook for first quarter 2006 is favorable, as we continue to enjoy strong revenue momentum and benefit from reductions in competitive capacity. Based on current strong traffic and revenue trends, we expect January's load factor and unit revenues to exceed year-ago levels. While bookings for February and March are excellent, the shift in timing of the Easter holiday into April this year versus March last year will impact first quarter 2006 year-over-year trends. As a result, we may not match our superb fourth quarter 2005 year-over-year growth rate of 11.7 percent in first quarter 2006.

[And then there's that potential gross from a theater that] cost tens and tens of millions, ... There are (huge) numbers that apply to any show -- that's what makes Vegas astounding. Every deal is different, but because of those numbers being so big, there are a lot of opportunities for everyone.

Now that the summer is over, in particular the Labor Day weekend, and the fact that the economy is improving, thus more people are commuting to New York, these are things that have helped our numbers. At this point, we do not have any solid numbers to indicate that the gas prices are the only thing that is making more people utilize our services.

Today's Bay Area real estate market has all the characteristics of a relatively normal balanced market. We knew the year-ago numbers were unsustainably strong. Right now it looks like current trends will last well into 2006, with strong, but not record-breaking sales, and continued appreciation.
