en We at the USOC, along with our national governing bodies, their coaches and their athletes, have a goal in mind of being the best in the world. That doesn't necessarily come with a solid, quantifiable number.

en I think we're going to again surprise the world with how the U.S. does. They view our performance in Salt Lake as an aberration. I think our athletes and our national governing bodies, both individually and collectively, are out to prove that their performance wasn't an aberration – that we are collectively a winter sports power in the world.

en A number of our governing bodies are bound and determined to be the best in the world. Witness the U.S. Ski and Snowboard team -- they want to be the best in the world.

en The number of thousands of missing children, if you're getting them from that national center, is not necessarily the number of human bodies we have had and touched in our shelters. There are just not 1,988 kids out there without an adult.

en It's a really nice honor when you consider it's a national award. It makes you think back over the years, about the number of coaches and student-athletes you've been involved with. It's all about the journey and memories -- all the great people you've been around.

en St. Helena has a lot of confidence. They're playing good baseball. We had to put a number up in the first inning to put doubt in their mind. I don't know if we necessarily put doubt in their mind but it set the tempo for us.
